Cher Zorrilla
Creative Director
Cher Zorrilla is a professional actress for stage and film, singer, dancer, model and talent coach. Let’s just say she’s done it all!
At a very young age Cher knew that performing was her passion. She let nothing stop her from pursuing her dreams. She has performed around the world showing her unique personality, talent and comedic sense.
For more than 35 years Cher has mentored young talent. She has taught film and TV acting, theatre, musical theatre, modeling, singing, dancing, etiquette and the list goes on.
At Stagekidz she is proud to work with today’s young stars. We opened our performing arts program in the fall of 2011 and have been having the time of our lives’ ever since!

Silken Lawson
Instructor Main StageKidz Drama
Silken Lawson is an actor, writer, singer, and filmmaker from Smithers, BC, on the unceded traditional territory of the Wet’suwet’en Nation. A graduate of Studio 58’s Acting Program, she has performed on stages across the lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, including the Vancouver International Children’s Festival and Vancouver Fringe.
Now part of the StageKidz teaching team, Silken is passionate about helping young performers grow through creativity and play. She aims to inspire confidence, compassion, and collaboration—encouraging every student to discover their unique voice through the joy of performance.
Mason Mattu
Instructor Main StageKidz Singing
Mason Mattu is an actor, singer, published author, and musical theatre enthusiast with extensive training in choral and pop singing. He is currently a student at Simon Fraser University, where he studies International Studies, focusing on International Security and Conflict.
Mason’s passion for music began at the age of four and has continued throughout his life, leading him to participate in choirs and musical theatre productions. Beyond theatre, Mason has been recognized for his community leadership and activism, receiving Port Coquitlam’s Youth Leader of the Year award in 2024.
As the Singing Instructor at StageKidz, Mason aims to create a safe and engaging environment where students can build confidence both as singers and young learners. He hopes that every student leaves the classroom with a deep love for singing, just as he does!
Madison Green
Instructor Main StageKidz Dance
Madison is a versatile actress, singer, and dancer who holds a Diploma in Theatre and Performing Arts. She has showcased her talents in numerous theatre productions, including Hairspray, Grease, Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Love and Information, and notably as Tina in Tony and Tina’s Wedding.
Her dedication to her craft has earned her several prestigious awards, such as the Department Scholarship Award for Acting, Best Acting Performance, Best Student in Directing and Film Writing, and Best Student in Film and TV.
In addition to her theatre accomplishments, Madison has gained valuable experience as a Production Assistant on current films and TV shows, including Kung Fu, Riverdale, and various Hallmark Movies.
Madison’s dance training is extensive and professional, covering styles such as jazz, lyrical, hip hop, Irish, tap, contemporary, and ballet. She seamlessly integrates her acting and dancing skills into all her performances, contributing to her dynamic presence on stage. Madison loves being part of the StageKidz family, where she continues to share her passion for the performing arts with the children, inspiring and nurturing the next generation of performers
Giamna Perez Machado

Giamna is so excited to be the Mini Kidz Instructor at StageKidz!
Giamna has over five years of experience supporting children and adolescents in educational settings. She is deeply passionate about her work and dedicated to helping young people discover and reach their full potential from an early age. With her enthusiasm and knowledge, Giamna is committed to making a positive impact in students’ lives every day.
Her excellent problem-solving skills and building relationships with students and their families contribute to make the class a physically and emotionally safe place for the Mini Kidz.
